St. Peter Chanel Catholic College of Secondary Teacher Education is an emerging institution in East New Britain, Papua New Guinea, committed to addressing the critical shortage of qualified secondary teachers, particularly in mathematics and science. Our mission is to form educators who not only teach, but inspire and transform the lives of their students through high-quality instruction grounded in strong Christian values.
We deliver a rigorous and holistic teacher training program that integrates pedagogy, subject content, psychology, sociology, epistemology, and religious education. This ensures our graduates are fully equipped to create engaging and effective learning experiences in diverse classroom settings.
