IT Support
The College is committed to supporting all students in developing strong IT skills and becoming confident, capable users of technology. To support this, the College provides tablets to all students, giving them easy access to online resources at their fingertips. In addition, significant time and investment have gone into ensuring reliable wireless connectivity across the entire campus. As with any well-managed education institution, there are usage restrictions in place around material that is deemed unsuitable.
The College has a dedicated computer lab used for teaching purposes, and when not in use for classes, students are encouraged to access it during opening hours. In addition, computers are available for student use in the library.
Training is provided to students on key Microsoft software products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. These skills are essential for academic success and future workplace readiness, and sessions are designed to build confidence and practical ability.
IT Help Desk
Our IT Help Desk provides essential frontline technical support to both staff and students across the College. Whether you’re having trouble logging in, need assistance with software, or have a problem with your device, our IT team is here to help. Support includes troubleshooting common issues, managing user accounts, updating systems, and ensuring printers, networks, and college software platforms are running smoothly.
The team also oversees the maintenance of our college website and manages the production of staff and student ID cards. Our IT staff work behind the scenes to install important updates and keep our digital systems secure and user-friendly.
We understand that IT issues can disrupt learning and productivity, so we aim to provide quick and helpful responses to all support requests. In addition to daily help desk operations, our IT staff work together on larger, more complex projects to improve our digital infrastructure.
